How to get the document class book (KOMA-Script) working with Lyx 2.0.5?

Hello,

I've installed LyX-2.0.5-Bundle-3.exe from [1] onto a WinXP32 SP3 PC.
Starting the User Guide 3 errors appear:

(1)
LyX: Document class not available
The selected document class
book (KOMA-Script)
requires external files that are not available .
The document class can still be used, but the
document cannot be compiled until the following
prerequisites are installed :
scrbook.cls
See section 3 . 1 . 2 . 2 (Class Availability) of the
User's Guide for more information .

(2)
LyX: Package not available
The module customHeadersFooters requires a package that is not
available in your LaTeX installation, or a converter that you have not
installed . LaTex output may not be possible . Missing prerequisites :
fancyhdr.sty
See section 3 . 1 . 2 . 3 (Modules) of the User's Guide for more
information

(3)
LyX: package not available:
The module enumitem requires a package that is not
availab~ in your LaTeX installation, or a converter that
you have not installed . LaTex output may not be possible . Missing
prerequisites :
enumitem.sty
See section 3 . 1 . 2 . 3 (Modules) of the User's Guide for more
information

So I installed koma-script, fancyhdr and enumitem by the MikTex Package
Manager and synchronized the repository. After restarting LyX 2.0.5 and
opening again the user guide none of the 3 errors disappears. Document >
Settings keeps on to show an unavailable book (KOMA-Script) document
class. How one can get rid of these errors?

By the way: The formula example f(x)=case... in the last example of
chapter 4.4.6 in the Tutorial leads also to an error, but this error
could be solved by installing the entry 'amsmath' by the MikTex Package
Manager :-)

Thank you in advance for your help.

Martin

Hi Martin

The errors you list suggest that there was a failure at the installation
stage as all these files should have been installed. As you may well
encounter further problems as you explore LyX, I would suggest you
uninstall your existing installation and install Bundle-4.exe from:

http://www.lyx.org/Download#toc3

However, this forum is for errors in the documentation and I am not a
Windows user; so you may prefer to wait for an answer from a Windows
user.
